**Position**:Eastern Sales Manager

**Reports To**:VP of Sales

**Position Overview**:
The Eastern Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Eastern Sales Team to achieve sales targets and objectives. This role involves strategic planning, team development, and collaboration with represented manufacturers to drive overall business success.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales Strategy and Planning**:

- Implement the national sales strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and manufacturers and customers needs to identify opportunities for growth.

**Team Leadership**:

- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Set clear targets and motivate the team to achieve and exceed goals.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.

**Relationship Management**:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and key clients.
- Collaborate with other divisions to ensure a cohesive approach to customer satisfaction and business growth.

**Sales Performance Monitoring**:

- Implement effective sales tracking and reporting.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.

**Budget Management**:

- Manage the Eastern sales budget.
- Ensure cost-effective operations while maximizing revenue generation.

**Market Expansion**:

- Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for expansion.
- Develop and execute strategies to penetrate and establish a strong presence in new territories.

**Sales Training and Development**:

- Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

**Communication**:

- Effectively communicate sales objectives, strategies, and results to the executive team.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment with organizational goals.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Attend all manufacturer meetings and calls to report back from the field.
- Travel with each sales rep minimum once per year and quarterly for new sales reps during their first year.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a sales management role within the building materials and hardware industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop effective sales strategies.
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
- Bi-lingual

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
