Some of the core responsibilities of the role will include, but not be limited to:
Managing acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate
Handling real estate financing matters
handling the drafting, filing and amendment of Real Estate Development Marketing Act disclosure statements and related marketing materials and obligations
Drafting agreements in relation to real estate development corporate structure
Legal research for all manner of real estate related issues
**Negotiating with various levels of government regarding**: Development approvals; Land use; Zoning; Variances; ALR Matters; and Expropriation
Handling subdivision matters
Negotiating, advising and preparing leases for landlords and tenants
**Required experience**:
3+ years of experience within real estate law
Experience advising clients with respect to real estate matters
Excellent drafting and communication skills
Confident at engaging and interacting with clients
Exceptional work ethic, client service oriented and team player
Attention to detail
