**Your Role**:
You will develop and execute patient access strategies and create compelling value propositions from clinical and health economic data to secure, maintain or improve reimbursement of EMD Serono's portfolio of innovative products. You will lead government affairs activities on a provincial or regional basis through a deep understanding of local issues, policies and government dynamics, and building and assessing the clinical and economic value demonstration components, including clinical evidence, cost-benefit/budget impact, and burden of disease, among others as needed. You will also develop market access strategies to support recently launched products at the provincial level and, with select products, at the national level.

You will develop formulary listing strategies and submissions for public payers, private insurers and occasionally large employers to ensure optimal reimbursement of the EMD portfolio of drugs. You will assess payer evidence requirements to determine potential evidence gaps and establish Global MAP alignment with HEOR and other evidence generation functions on tactics to be addressed and provide input to global market access and pricing (MAP) teams on the HTA strategies at the country level, and represent the payer and HTA point of view in cross-functional meetings and in the yearly brand planning process

**Who You Are**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree (e.g., sciences, economics, political science, or public administration)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, public healthcare (hospital, health region or authority) or government (with a focus on public health)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently from a home office set up and willingness to travel approximately 40%
- Strong communication skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English (required)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Post-graduate experience an asset (in a related field - e.g., Health Economics)
- Demonstrated experience in either Market Access, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (preferred) or Government Affairs, with specific experience in the development of access/formulary listing submissions to HTAs, public drug plans and private payers
- Proven track of developing market access strategies for specialty products and a strong understanding of current pharmaceutical industry payer environment
- Proven experience bringing products through the formulary submissions and pricing process (i.e., CADTH and INESSS, PMPRB and the pCPA), and a commitment to IMC Code of Conduct and Health Canada rules and regulations governing communication to HCP and non-HCP community stakeholders.
