**Team Lead - Synthetic Organic Chemist**

We’re currently seeking a **Team Lead - Synthetic Organic Chemist** to serve as the primary point of contact within our lab and help guide the next wave of innovation.

About the Role:
In this key leadership position, you will report directly to the Director of Chemistry Lab Operations and play a central role in both the scientific and operational success of our lab. You’ll lead complex synthetic chemistry projects, mentor junior chemists, and liaise with clients and collaborators to ensure exceptional research outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Synthetic Efforts: Design and optimize multi-step synthetic routes for complex molecules.
- Troubleshoot and Innovate: Identify and resolve synthesis challenges using creative and scientifically sound approaches.
- Analytical Oversight: Analyze and interpret data using HPLC, NMR, MS, and other advanced analytical tools.
- Purification & Characterization: Ensure compound purity and structural integrity using state-of-the-art instrumentation.
- HPLC Method Development: Develop, validate, and refine HPLC methods for compound analysis.
- Project Coordination: Serve as the primary lab contact for internal teams and external partners, providing updates and insights.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Support team members, contribute to a collaborative environment, and foster knowledge sharing.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate lab records in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications:

- MSc, or PhD in Organic Chemistry (PhD preferred), with demonstrated expertise in synthetic and analytical chemistry.
- Proven experience designing and executing synthetic routes in a research or industrial setting.
- Proficiency with key analytical techniques, including NMR, HPLC, MS.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
