**YOU are a coach, athlete, and player. You have in depth knowledge of the products we carry because you play in the arenas, courts, and fields of these sports. You believe in the spirit of team, adapting to the ever-changing retail environment, being part of constant innovation and working alongside the best coaches, captains, teammates, and vendors in the business.**

**Job Type: Department Lead (**Assistant Captain) - Hockey and Team Sports**

As the Team Lead - Team Sports, you will provide extraordinary customer service to our customers by engaging them in authentic conversations and providing them with assistance in selecting the right product for their Hockey or Sport. In addition, you will lead the sales team in delivering excellent customer service.

**Your Responsibilities**

**Customer Service**
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance in product selection while providing information about the product, materials, technology, and functionality.
- Actively participate in our team tasks to deliver a full experience to our customers including store cleanliness, merchandising, and restocking of product and control of inventory.
- Provide technical services in the skate shop.

***Leadership**:

- Show passion, knowledge, dedication, and commitment for the sports and activities we support in our stores.
- Motivates and leads team through personal example regarding customer service, store cleanliness, departmental job lists, health and safety practices, dress code, players relations and compliance with Team Towns’ policies and procedures.
- Adheres to all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), specifically Employee’s Responsibilities and reporting requirements.

**Training**:

- Completes all training within required timelines.
- Participates in daily huddles and weekly team meetings.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of the team.

- You have an outgoing personality and an enthusiasm for creating an amazing customer experience and a genuine passion for serving the public and ensuring that all customers are cared for.
