**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a **Finance Support Coordinator** to join our Finance team in Sudbury Operations. This is a permanent position covered under the Collective Agreement between Vale and the Local 2020-05 United Steelworkers.

As a Finance Support Coordinator, you will manage workflows for external service providers, from requisition creation to final payments, ensuring compliance with plant-specific requirements and contract terms.

Additionally, in this position you will:

- Validate invoices, ensure compliance with contracts, prepare requisitions, and process Purchase Orders and Service Entry Sheets for payments.
- Manage requisitions from status to final payment while aligning purchase order commitments with operational plans and available funds.
- Maintain strong, policy-aligned relationships with service providers.
- Support leadership with FP&A requests and prepare materials for meetings and discussions.
- Generate financial reports, forecast trends, analyze costs, track projects, and create accruals in SAP to ensure financial accuracy and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with teams for financial planning and support continuous improvement using the VPS framework while adhering to safety standards.

**About You**

**Education**:

- Education in Business Administration or a related discipline with relevant business/accounting experience.

**Experience**:

- 2-4 years experience in Business Administration/Accounting role
- Preferred Certification in Sap or Microsoft Office

**Skills**:

- Accrual Expertise: Demonstrates strong proficiency in the accrual process, including estimating and recording period-end expenses. Capable of accurately forecasting future expenditures by leveraging historical data and committed costs.
- Financial Analysis Mastery: Skilled in dissecting and interpreting financial data to uncover trends, variances, and actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and performance optimization.
- Excel Proficiency: Expert in managing large data sets and utilizing advanced Excel functionalities such as pivot tables, filtering, and sorting techniques to effectively present and analyze data.
- SAP Requisition-to-Pay Expertise: Adept in SAP processes, encompassing purchase requisition creation, purchase order management, invoice verification, and seamless payment workflows.
