Together, we are building better bakeries. **The Bread and Butter of the Position** If you are highly organized, detail oriented and enjoy a job that keeps you moving, our Warehouse/Inventory Team Member position may be right for you. With a primary focus on Order Building, our Warehouse/Inventory Team Members ensure our operations on are safe and efficient, preparing our products for delivery. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, our Warehouse/Inventory Team Members are responsible for: - Report any damaged, unlabeled, unpresentable, or missing product to a supervisor. - Continuously assist in product placement around the warehouse - Package and case product using a packaging machine, while ensuring compliance with company procedures. - Case each product based on casing limits and ensuring appropriate sizing materials are in use. - Ensure compliance with labelling procedures for all cased products. - Maintain cased product organization in accordance with company procedures and supervisor direction. - Safely unload incoming shipments from delivery trucks, ensuring all items are handled with care to prevent damage. - Accurately load outgoing shipments onto delivery trucks, verifying that the correct items and quantities are loaded as per shipping documents - Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety protocols and procedures. - Accurately follow purchase order requirements including but not limited to product amounts, casing procedure, labelling, etc... - Assist the receiving department by pulling orders from the warehouse and preparing for pick up/deliveries. - Assist Inventory Control with administrative tasks on an assigned basis. - Operate packaging and warehouse machinery in accordance to Work Safe BC guidelines & Company Procedures. - Other duties as assigned - Not use equipment until properly trained to do so. - Rotate and follow the FIFO standard (First in First out) with all ingredients, stock, and products - Follow all WHMIS procedures **Shifts and availability**: - 8-hour shifts. - This is a full-time permanent position. - Occasional overtime **The Ingredients You Bring to the Table** - Strong verbal communication skills - The ability to work independently, as well as in a group - The ability to work on your feet for extended periods - The ability to work in a clean, organized manner - The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. - Have Flexible Scheduling - Forklift Certification an asset - Pallet Jack's experience is an asset - A commitment to upholding company policies, compliance and quality standards - A commitment to punctuality and reliability, reporting to work on time as scheduled - A willingness to learn and grow - Previous experience in a warehouse environment is considered an asset **The Details You’ll Loave**: - Starting wage: $20.00/hour - Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday - 1:30 pm-5:30 pm - Healthy and frequent raises - Annual bonuses based on performance metrics - Medical & Dental benefits including Life Insurance after 3 months. - Access to complementary "staff bread" to take home - Annual Footwear Allowance - Opportunity for advancement - Paid Training **Our Values and What We Expect From Our Bread Head Team Members**: - **Integrity**:_We keep it real in how we treat our customers, our teams, and our products. - **Quality**:_We stand for uncompromising quality in everything we do. - **Growth**:_We commit to growing ourselves, our teams, and our reach. - **Community**:_We give back to the communities that support us.
