Description

NSF is seeking to add a dynamic **Account Manager I SCFS** to our growing team. This role will be both directly client facing, and a key support role to various internal team members. As the Account Manager I, you will manage smaller accounts and support team members with larger more complex accounts. As an Account Manager I, you will report to the Manager Supply Chain Food Safety, Supplier Assurance (who is based in Canada).

**Principle Accountabilities **include, but are not limited to:

- Manages customer account scope, audits, deliverables, timelines, service levels, and is a primary contact for the customer account with daily customer interaction. You are the client’s “go-to” for all their needs.
- Collaborates with various internal partners to deliver services to clients, including food safety technical managers, audit delivery leads, scheduling and NSF regional offices
- Assists Key Account Managers and leaders with larger accounts including audit set up, projects, client reporting and supporting additional operational processes. You are the “go-to” for a variety of tasks to support our largest clients.
- Responds to routine customer questions regarding their food safety audit and business with NSF in a timely manner or with proper urgency
- Inputs data into NSF audit management software or client audit management software that may include customer info, customer job, work orders, audit reports, and other client related information.

Qualifications
- College or university degree
- 1 year minimum Customer interaction or account management experience
- Experience Building Strategic Working Relationships - Developing and using collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals with both client and internal partners.
- Proven Decision Making Skills (includes Problem Solving) - Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.
- Innovative - Ability to generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities.
- Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills - Having achieved a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; keeping up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise.
- Must be located in US or Canada
