**Summary**

We are seeking for a Payroll Administrator who must have a strong attention to detail and technical skills, including proficiency with automated payroll processing services. The National Payroll Institute’s, Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) accreditation can be an asset. Payroll Administrator will stay current with changes Employment Standard Act or other regulations impacting employee payroll.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Oversee the preparation and processing of weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
- Administer payroll and time and attendance functions, including inputting new hires, updating employee status, managing wage adjustments, handling terminations, and submitting Records of Employment (ROE).
- Maintain accurate and current employee data in the Jonas system.
- Address and investigate inquiries and discrepancies related to payroll and time and attendance.
- Coordinate with HR Department when required.
- Address and resolve inquiries from employees and management regarding payroll matters.

**Qualifications**
- Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience as a payroll administrator
- Experience process payroll for Union employees is an asset
- Strong organization and ability to multitask
- Excellent attention to detail
- Sound judgement
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Good communication skills
