**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure continuous and safe maintenance and repair activities;
- Manage personnel and performance to meet specific requirements and standards for performing repairs and preventative maintenance;
- Supervise maintenance work, assign manpower and communicate the instructions necessary for the smooth running of maintenance activities by ensuring a rapid restart of equipment;
- Ensure the maintenance of a healthy, clean and safe work environment;
- Actively participate in anomaly analyzes and the implementation of corrective measures;
- Compile performance measures, notify the persons concerned of any anomaly concerning the facilities and production equipment;
- Use the technology in place to track performance indicators and perform research and controls;
- Ensure the management of parts and stores related to the department;
- Manage and monitor the department's budget on a daily basis;
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans;
- Participate in the implementation of improvement projects in his sector.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a college diploma in electromechanical, mechanical or electrical;
- Have more than 10 years of experience in the field (electrical, mechanical) or a minimum of 5 years in maintenance management;
- Having experience in managing a team would be an asset;
- Have experience in a unionized field
