Supply Chain Analyst

**Overview**: The Supply Chain Analyst supports the procurement and logistics teams from a process and execution perspective. This role is responsible for improving the movement, distribution, and storage of finished goods, while ensuring all stakeholders are provided excellent service throughout the entire supply chain.

**Statement of Work & Responsibilities**:
- Perform analysis of a variety of supply chain data sets to measure performance, identify trends, model impacts of resource changes, and discover optimization opportunities
- Manage digital purchasing records and obtain quotes from suppliers for pricing
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to determine and maintain product quality
- Source and onboard new vendors and managing relevant business and organization partnerships
- Drive purchase cost savings initiatives and participate in the negotiation of purchase prices
- Collaborate with Procurement Manager to order raw materials
- Manage inventory levels and perform risk assessments to anticipate and prevent any supply chain issues in the procurement of goods or services
- Coordinate company purchases with other departments
- Arrange the logistics of deliveries for all purchased items
- Assist in creation of purchasing policies and procedures
- Communicate with vendors to obtain information critical to the procurement/sourcing process
- Implement and modify systems, processes, and optimization projects in accordance with organizational goals
- Provide analytics assistance through Root Cause and Correction Action investigations of supply shortage, operational miss, and other system and process failures
- Assist the logistic team with routing deliveries or setting up third party freight carriers
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Self-driven initiative to gain and implement a broad knowledge of warehousing and supply chain best practices
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
- No experience required, just a great attitude
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
