Supply Chain Analyst1 year contractMississauga- ONSITE30-34 hourly Position SummaryThe SPC Supply Chain Analyst is a highly skilled contributor responsible for managing global supply of critical raw materials and supporting key planning processes across the organization. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to optimize supply chain performance within a complex global environment. The analyst will provide best-practice guidance within the team, support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, and manage reporting and inventory processes to ensure operational excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal Supply ManagementManage global supply of critical raw materials to ensure consistent availability.Collaborate closely with suppliers and global planning teams to optimize material flow.Identify supply risks and implement mitigation actions where necessary.Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) SupportProvide process support for divisional S&OP activities.Create accurate demand plans aligned with business objectives.Analyze international supply plans to ensure alignment with demand and inventory strategies.Monitor and manage key process metrics and performance indicators.Data & Reporting SupportProvide analytical and data support to divisional planning teams.Manage reporting for demand planning, order management, inventory management, and financial metrics.Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across all planning systems.Non-Working Inventory (NWI) ManagementLead the global process for managing non-working inventory.Work with subsidiaries to identify NWI items and define disposition plans.Track execution and progress against disposition strategies.Continuous ImprovementShare best practices within the work group to enhance efficiency and process standardization.Recommend and support improvements in planning and supply chain processes. QualificationsProven experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or materials management.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Experience working with global supply chains, suppliers, or cross-functional teams.Proficiency in supply chain systems, planning tools, and reporting platforms.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities. “AI may be used to screen, assess or select applicants for this position”.
