Airdrie, Canada Propak Systems Ltd. Full time

**Propak Systems Ltd.**, an established leader in engineering, fabrication and construction of gas compression, processing and Heavy Oil facilities, is currently seeking a **Warehouse Receiver**. Reporting to the Warehouse Lead Hand, this position is responsible for handling, moving, loading, and unloading materials by hand or using material handling equipment at the warehouse and lay-down areas.

**Warehouse Receivers** are expected to complete daily receiving tasks at a high level with supervision, mentorship, training, and guidance being provided as necessary. This position displays strong material knowledge and a general understanding of the functionality of other Warehouse groups.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload materials (i.e. valves, fittings, motors, etc.) using a variety of material handling equipment;
- Operates winches and other devices to load and unload materials;
- Open containers and crates
- Weigh, sort, and check materials
- Complete the receiving procedure on incoming purchase orders;
- Properly mark material (material tags) for material being received;
- Interpret the information found on Propak purchase orders and suppliers’ paperwork;
- Identify material and commodities received at Propak;
- Confirm material accuracy to purchase orders;
- Identify material and place it into appropriate bin check locations;
- Organize and maintain accurate records for receiving and shipping of materials;
- Liaise with other Propak employees to ensure required material is delivered accurately upon receipt;
- Take inventory;
- Complete and document pre-operational checks/maintenance on assigned equipment and ensure all equipment has proper safety measures in place;
- Ensure all loads are legal weight;
- Write required manila tags for material being received and complete embossed tags on the embossing machine.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma
- Oil and gas industry warehousing experience
- Basic knowledge of materials used in the construction of oil and gas plants
- Familiarity with warehouse software
- Experience with the use and maintenance of basic hand and power tools
- Experience maintaining warehouse tools and equipment
- Experience and license for forklift operation is an asset
