**_Warehouse Assistant_**

Perfect Surfaces is a dynamic, growing specialty flooring company currently seeking a professional, energetic, highly motivated individual with a positive attitude who is eager to learn through hands-on experience. Reporting to our head office and warehouse in Airdrie, Alberta, the part-time Warehouse Assistant position must be filled by a hard-working individual with a willingness to learn.

**_Duties & Responsibilities _**
- Coordinating and processing outgoing product
- Preparing and loading material in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
- Receiving all incoming shipments and authorizing for correctness of the product received
- Distributing product to correct area in the warehouse in a timely manner
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
- Picking and packing orders as required
- Any other warehouse duties as assigned
- General housekeeping duties

**_Skills & Qualifications_**
- Must be able to lift 100lbs (50lb average item weight), employing safe lifting techniques
- Physically fit and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable and punctual, able to take ownership and initiative
- Outstanding organization skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Passion to learn and grow, potentially progressing within the company
- High level of commitment to exceptional customer service
- Self-motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
- Able to take direction and work alone, with mínimal supervision
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Shipping/warehouse experience is an asset but not required
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-25 per week

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
