QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Science or a health related field
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in a research coordinator position, or equivalent combination of education and experience in research coordination
- Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP/CCRA) or willingness to obtain within two years of employment (must keep certification active) or Clinical Trials Management Diploma
- Certification in ICH GCP, Division 5, TCPS-2
- Experience in a relevant health care environment
- Enthusiasm for advancing science in the practice of clinical trials research
- Demonstrated skill in managing and organizing multiple projects, with competing deadlines, diverse tasks, and unique challenges and in a constantly changing environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to new situations
- Proven ability of ensuring confidentiality of information
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, especially with patients and substitute decision makers
- Excellent written communication, proofreading and editing skills
- Superior organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently, accurately and in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset
- Consistent and regular attendance required
- Full vaccination in accordance with Niagara Health's Vaccination Policy
