**qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Science of a health related field and at least 5 years of recent experience in a research coordinator position, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP/CCRA) or willingness to obtain within two years of employment (must keep certification active) or Clinical Trials Management Diploma
  • Certification in ICH GCP, Division 5, TCPS-2
  • Experience in a relevant health care environment
  • Enthusiasm for advancing science in the practice of clinical trials research
  • Demonstrated skill in managing and organizing multiple projects, with competing deadlines, diverse tasks, and unique challenges and in a constantly changing environment
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to new situations.
  • Proven ability of ensuring confidentiality of information.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, especially with patients and substitute decision makers.
  • Excellent written communication, proofreading and editing skills.
  • Superior organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and accuracy in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Consistent and regular attendance required, with a flexible schedule an asset.
