**RESPONSBILITIES**
- Reading front-end documents, including instructions to bidders to determine closing dates, tendering or RFQ procedures, bonding requirements, insurance requirements, etc.
- Determine tender form requirements and set up tender specific breakout pricing to ensure compliance with tender submission
- Prepare estimates including costs of materials, labour and equipment for construction projects based on tender documents
- Coordinate price packages with suppliers, subcontractors, regarding tenders
- Work closely with the Mechanical team to produce thorough and complete estimates
- Prepare estimates for custom projects

**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- 4+ years of Estimating experience in Commercial, Industrial, or Institutional Mechanical industries
- OR 8+ years of trade experience in as a mechanical tradesman (sheet metal/Plumbing) with training available

**EDUCATION**
- Trade Certificate or proven experience
- Mechanical Engineering Technologist, an asset but not required

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Motivated self-starter
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Problem solving skills
- Computer-based Estimating and Project Management
- Detail-oriented
- Blueprint reading
- Proficient Computer Skills
- AutoCAD experience a plus
- Trimble Software experience is considered an asset
- Computer-based Estimating and Project Management
