**Working for the Department of Physics**

The Department of Physics is an internationally recognized research department in the College of Natural and Applied Sciences, Faculty of Science.

**Position**

**Duties**
- Provides administrative support to the P-One Project including schedule preparation, document preparation and review, budget tracking, purchasing and procurement, credit card reconciliations, prepares and processes travel and expense claims, makes travel arrangements and uploads documents to web based documentation services and databases.
- Interacts and coordinates with team members in Alberta and at other institutions to further project.
- Reviews monthly charges for accuracy and arranges for resolution of any incorrect charges on the general ledger.
- Coordinates meetings and events, including preparation of materials and venue arrangements.
- Attends meetings (in-person and online) with P-One team members in Alberta and at other institutions.
- Prepares contracts for P-ONE project technical students.
- Other administrative duties as required.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in a related field is required.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines within a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency using MS Office Applications (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace Applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Proficiency using Peoplesoft Financials, eTRAC and Supplynet.
