**Marketing & Events Coordinator**

**Position Overview**

The Marketing & Events Coordinator will be accountable for supporting the Marketing Team by coordinating all logistics for the events portfolio and handling administrative duties assigned. You must possess strong organizational and task management skills, as well as, have a balance of soft inter-personal skills that will be used to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute the role successfully. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Brand Development however you will work closely with the entire Marketing Team and interface with HearingLife employees across the organization on a daily basis.

**Key Responsibilities**

There are two key areas of responsibility for this role:
**Marketing Administration**
- Main administrative contact for HearingLife’s AirMiles account completing all tasks required to set up and train new staff in clinics
- Assign and manage all marketing Toll Free numbers and Ad Tracking codes used for a variety of advertising and promotional purposes
- Manage stock levels on Marketing Bench and notify Senior Managers when stock levels are low
- Assist in the creation and production of printed marketing collateral and materials, as required
- Process and track invoices generated by this position
- Participate in regular meetings across Marketing functions to ensure activities are adjusted as business needs change
- General administrative duties as required by the Marketing Team

**Event Administration**:

- Manage, execute and track bookings and logistics for all events for HearingLife employees which include but is not limited to:

- Booking and participating in trade shows, conferences, consumer events, etc.
- Coordinating any required logistics, i.e. electrical, internet and furnishings
- Shipping all event materials to various locations across Canada, i.e. swag, promotional material, etc.
- Booking hotel rooms for staff
- Other event related duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of marketing or administration experience, preferably in an agency setting or healthcare industry.
- Trusted team player who is thoughtful, displays enthusiasm and has a positive can-do attitude
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects paying attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive individual looking to be a part of an energetic team

**Technical Proficiency**
- Microsoft Office 365 Suite (strong proficiency in Excel, an asset)
- ASANA or similar project management tool
