**Summary**:
The Manger, Brand Marketing & Planning, is accountable for leading a team that builds and manages an exceptional customer experience in key phases of the path-to-purchase journey. Responsible for ensuring full integration of approved messaging across multiple customer touch points and supporting the alignment of key priorities and executional milestones within the brand marketing team while supporting the Director in achieving cross functional priorities.
**Specific Responsibilities**:
- Lead the Team through the development and execution of brand building initiatives and 360-Degree Integrated Promotions with clear links to relevant consumer and industry insights.
- Lead the period budget planning process and ensure period consolidations remain on target throughout the fiscal year for all assigned budget lines; ensure financial auditing processes are adhered to by team
- Act as internal Brand Champion for all creative assets, ensuring approved brand guidelines are maintained consistently across all store elements, advertising materials and partner promotional materials.
- Oversee the development and execution of tactical marketing plans and programs to support sales and revenue objectives. Recommend measurement plans and conduct post-mortems on all marketing campaigns.
- Inspire agency partners to develop impactful mass advertising creative for deployment on TV, radio, print, digital and social media channels to improve brand recall and link.
- Develop and manage local marketing plans and experiential activations that support commercial business priorities and drive sales.
- Work closely with the Loyalty Marketing Team to ensure ongoing synergy between mass and targeted communications and promotional activity.
- Work closely with the Shopper Marketing Team to ensure brand standards and approved style guides are applied through in-store merchandising and signage.
- Regularly liaise with senior level stakeholders to ensure timely feedback is gathered from all stakeholders and approvals are issued as per outlined Action Plans.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor Degree in Business or Marketing; MBA an asset
- 5 - 7 years marketing experience at a Manager Level; agency experience an asset
- Minimum 3 years experience managing teams (1+) in a direct supervisory role
- Excellent negotiation skills & strong project management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build clearly articulated and influential sales presentations
- Ability to interact with and influence key stakeholders across all levels of management
