We are a small growing virtual bookkeeping firm looking for an outstanding, motivated & passionate individual to join our team We service the lower mainland and have a variety of amazing clients. We have recently expanded into the Okanagan and are looking to expand our team
- At least two-years hands on experience of Quickbooks Desktop & Quickbooks Online software ( certification an asset) or Post Secondary degree/diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance.
- Familiarity with online apps such as Hubdoc, Wagepoint, Asana, T-Sheets would be an asset but not mandatory as long as you are a quick learner
- Proficiency in Microsoft office - Word, Excel, Outlook, One Drive & Office 365 essential
- Full Cycle bookkeeping skills - monthly, quarterly and annual bookkeeping including government remittances, bank reconciling, data entry and administrative work
- Payroll experience an asset
- Processing year end T4/T4A slips an asset
- Fast learner, detail oriented, organized and fluent in English essential
- You are a take charge individual that is confident and possess leadership skills
- You enjoy working efficiently on your own as well as with a team of like minded individuals
- You are comfortable working from home, travelling to clients and working closely with the CEO onsite when necessary
About the Position:
- The chosen applicant will be working on a variety of bookkeeping clients, acting as support staff to the senior bookkeepers and handling light admin duties. Inclusive of organization of paperwork provided by clients, data entry into accounting system, electronic filing system used. Preparing monthly/quarterly government reports such as GST/ PST/WCB/ Payroll Tax. Preparing bank reconciliations, communicating with clients as needed, assisting with admin duties such as filing, couriers, internal projects.i
- Hours vary for this position, guaranteed 20 hours per week, may lead to fulltime, flexible days and hours, to be discussed.
Requirements for this job also include a valid drivers license, excellent and professional English speaking and comprehension a requirement.
Accounting education an asset, but not mandatory, hands-on experience an asset and requirement.
Compensation and benefits will be negotiated based on experience.

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
**Salary**: $15.00-$26.00 per hour
