**Join Our Team as a Human Resources Generalist**

Oakridge Landscape Contractors is seeking an experienced **HR Generalist** to help drive our people-first culture and support our growing team.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Lead full-cycle recruitment, from crafting job postings to onboarding new team members.
- Deliver exceptional employee experiences, including orientation, training programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Support employees and managers with coaching, performance management, and HR guidance.
- Manage employee files, benefits, wage agreements, and HR documentation.
- Champion employee engagement by coordinating team events, recognition programs, and internal communications.
- Oversee health and safety onboarding, tailgate topics, PPE distribution, and Joint Health & Safety Committee participation.
- Assist with HR programs, newsletters, retention strategies, and continuous improvement projects.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 2+ years of HR Generalist experience (construction or landscaping experience is a bonus).
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources (CHRP designation is an asset).
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. A proactive, people-first mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
