- THE OPPORTUNITY

Thomson Power Systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the Power Generation Industry for over 40 years. We are currently looking for a best in-class Service Coordinator to work closely within the service organization to deliver value add services to our customers. Reporting to the Service Director, this position is an in office position and is based out of Langley, BC. The service coordinator is directly responsible for the effective management and delivery of services related inquiries and requests in their assigned region. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, driven individual who is passionate about customer service and getting results. The individual must have exceptional communication skills and a proven track record as a team player. Duties include but are not limited to:
Service Order Entry- Parts orders- Returns / RMA’s- Complete process for cancellations, credits, concessions- Repairs- Warranty- Site Startup and Field Service - Orders and Closeouts- Process ASR/Sub Contractor Invoices

Service Administration- Service job costing - labour/travel hours, mileage and expenses- Recording service reports/traveler cards- Quotations - site trips, training, maintenance, mod kits, replacement parts- Arrange Warranty returns and Repairs with suppliers- Organize training seminars / programs- Coordinate and maintain Service Site Trip schedule- Maintain inventory in other warehouses- Updating work instructions and forms as instructed by manager

General Customer Service-
- Create service cases in CRM and maintain log- Handle general inquiries from internal and external customers- Provide product information - support material and PDF drawings

Minimum Qualifications- Valid Driver’s License- Strong data entry skills (40 WPM), and computer skills (Proficient with Microsoft Suite)- Minimum of 2 plus years of administrative and customer service experience- Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills- High level of attention to detail- Able to multi-task with strong organizational skills- Excellent customer service skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Experience in the Power Generation Industry, manufacturing or similar experience would be an asset
