**Salon Manager / Receptionist**

LUX NAIL | BEAUTY BAR is a busy salon located in the East Hamilton Mountain area. We have been operating for 4 years and are expanding with a second location, that is opening soon In order to keep up with our increasing number of clients, we are currently seeking an experienced salon manager / receptionist to join our amazing team

We are looking for a **Full Time Salon Manager / Receptionist**

**Responsibilities**:

- Opening & Closing tasks
- Maintain all staff schedules
- Process payment through POS
- Administration tasks
- Maximizing sales by booking appointment times accordingly
- Ensure high levels of customer service satisfaction
- Responsible for providing a high standard of customer service
- Responsible for end-of-day procedures to ensure the till is balanced
- Inventory
- Create social media content

**Education**
- Secondary school education

**Skills**
- Basic computer skills
- experience with FRESHA / SHEDUL is an asset
- Basic social media knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Multi-tasking and time management
- Ability to handle cash
- Solid written and verbal communication
- Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Self motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions

**Salary**: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Salon software: 1 year (preferred)
