Marketing Copywriter Intern

**Brief Description**

As a Marketing Copywriter Intern, you will play an active role in assisting our marketing team in crafting compelling and engaging content for various platforms. You will be involved in creating persuasive blog articles that communicates the unique value of our products/services, drives brand awareness, and stimulates customer interest. Your creativity, attention to detail, and excellent writing skills will be pivotal in shaping the voice of our brand and connecting with our target audience.

**Responsibilities**
- Partner closely with our marketing team to understand our brand voice, target audience, and marketing goals.
- Ensure that our brand maintains a consistent and compelling image across all written materials.
- Dive into industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to enhance the impact of our copy.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and marketing campaign strategies with your creative ideas.
- Work closely with our design and marketing teams to ensure that your copy complements visual elements effectively.
- Proofread and edit copy to maintain accuracy, proper grammar, and adherence to our style guide.
- Develop article concepts that resonate harmoniously with FreshFind's cherished audience.
- Weave the magic of SEO into our blog articles, effortlessly incorporating keywords and industry best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Current enrollment in a relevant postsecondary degree program, such as Marketing, Communications, English, Creative Writing or a related field.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A passion for storytelling and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple and engaging manner.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, social media, and SEO principles is a plus.
- Basic understanding of branding and the ability to adapt writing styles to match the brand voice.
- Proficiency in using productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite, project management platforms).
- A positive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of marketing and copywriting.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Education**: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Creative Writing, Communications, or a related field.

Creativity and Innovation: Demonstrated creativity and the ability to think outside the box when crafting engaging and original content. An intern who can bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to copywriting will stand out.

SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles can enhance the intern's ability to write copy that is not only engaging but also optimized for search engines, increasing the content's visibility online.

**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: Up to $16.64 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
