**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and train front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to ensure excellent customer service.
- Oversee daily operations, including managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest interactions.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Manage inventory levels for front of house supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Implement training programs for staff on service standards, food safety, and POS systems (Maitre'd).
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
- Assist with managing day-to-day transactions: sales, cash flow, and inventory; tracking and processing invoices, processing payroll;
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in as a supervisor or manager in a table service style restaurant or a similar role within the food industry is essential.
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems - Maitre'd preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills.
- Experience in interviewing and training staff is highly desirable.
- Background in kitchen operations or barista experience is a plus.
- Willing to work lunch and/or dinner service
