The Housing Supervisor plays an integral role in the maintenance, administration, and overall management of our Team Member Housing.

**Objectives**:

- Lead by example and be a pro-active member of the Human Resources Team of the Wickaninnish Inn
- Be the point of initial contact for the Housing On-site Contact team in regards to repair & maintenance items, including furniture and appliance repairs, new installations, preventative maintenance, landscaping, garbage removal and exterior maintenance
- Coordinate repairs with our Maintenance Department, and as needed, with outside contractors
- Work alongside the Director of Human Resources on coordination of all arrivals and departures into team member housing, room assignments, administration, key management, strata requirements, inventories, and purchase of small ware’s and larger capital items
- Attend weekly Housing meeting with Director of Human Resources and On-Site Contact team
- Mentor On-Site Contacts with inter-personal issues within their homes, provide guidance on implementation of progressive correction actions, conflict resolution and mediation, neighbour relations and after hours’ calls
- In the absence of an On-Site Contact, conduct arrival appointments and departure inspections
- Perform regular inspections of Team Member Housing including Long-Term Housing, and follow up with deficiencies

**Requirements**:

- Previous maintenance and administrative skills are an asset
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required
- Strong Human Resources skills are required; verbal and written communication skills, ability to connect and follow up with team members efficiently, sound judgement
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- Basic residential maintenance knowledge, and ability to operate power tools
- Physically competent to complete strenuous tasks, ability up to lift 35lbs
- Enjoy a variety of work, including both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to multitask with shifting priorities
- Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously; initiative
- As this position is newly created, additional tasks and responsibilities may be added
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- A mutual understanding of your employment duration will be determined during your interview
