Let your career take flight by joining our diverse and vibrant team at the leading edge of passenger aviation.** We are looking for a dynamic individual to join and work within the HR Data team which is responsible for maintaining HR systems and implementing solutions to HR business challenges. Reporting to the Manager, HR Data, this individual will be responsible for the successful delivery of HR systems and the day-to-day operations as they pertain to HR systems. **Key Functions and Responsibilities** - Own the successful delivery of HR systems through internal and external IT services. - Is the primary Client representative with overall responsibility for managing, prioritizing, and coordinating all system changes (i.e., Jira requests, TR's, CR's, etc.) - Lead and manage the successful implementation of system requirements for new system development/enhancements and shapes decisions as they pertain to HR, Benefits, and other functional areas - Monitor critical system issues with the external vendors to ensure resolution. Communicate with end users where appropriate. - Manage and support team of HR system analysts - Ensure "user" foundation tables and other configurations are updated appropriately in coordination with IT and the business owners Review and streamline end-user processes ensuring accuracy and efficiency effectively managed - Identify IT risks, communicate and develop "best practice" solutions, and implement mitigating controls consistent with company strategy - Collaborate with HR Data and Functional Architecture team as well as the HR Solutions team - Collaborate with IT and third parties to ensure development of solutions that are compatible with company standards **Qualifications** - A relevant University degree/technical certification, and/or relevant experience commensurate to the role - 10 years of HRIS experience preferably in benefits and HR core in a large organization - Must have strong customer and operational focus and ability to build positive relationships with internal clients and 3rd party providers - Exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills Takes responsibility for the results and actively participates in the future direction of the organization Ability to work effectively under pressure and in rapidly changing environments or uncertain conditions **Conditions of Employment**: **Linguistic Requirements** **Diversity and Inclusion** Air Canada is strongly committed to Diversity and Inclusion and aims to create a healthy, accessible and rewarding work environment which highlights employees' unique contributions to our company's success.
