Let your career take flight by joining our diverse and vibrant team at the leading edge of passenger aviation.** **Scope/ Purpose of the Position**: This position's purpose is to enhance job fit, and help bridge the gaps between roles or responsibilities to augment the employee's performance or for succession purposes. The Performance Management and Data Analytics Manager is responsible for using data to influence decisions about our corporate talent programs, and performance related initiatives. In addition to being in charge of the Employee Engagement Survey, their scope also includes developing tools, resources, and related initiatives linked to talent planning and succession. Expectations for the role include leveraging industry knowledge, internal relationships, and external partnerships to ensure employees have the best tools to do their jobs well, and that the Corporate Talent team is future focused. - **Initiative**: Anticipates what needs to be done long before others do and takes immediate action to develop better, faster, or less expensive ways to do things that help improve employee performance and engagement. - **Analytical**: Develops and implements data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies in analyzing a situation or making a decision. - **Technical**: Able to develop technical solutions to new or highly complex problems that cannot be solved using existing methods or approaches. - **Communication**: Uses clear & effective language, graphics, or other aids to clarify, simplify, and help the audience better understand complex or technical information. - **Teamwork**: Works for solutions that all team members can support; brings the team together in support of the solution. - **Customer orientation**: Regularly measures and tracks customer satisfaction; takes action with the information collected. - **Results orientation**: Has an extremely strong sense of urgency about solving problems and getting the work done; works through issues. - **Relationships**:Builds long lasting relationships with people whose assistance, cooperation and support may be needed ex: Employee Development team, HR IT team, HR advisors, internal stakeholders, vendors. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Talent **Key Functions & Accountabilities**: - Develop specs for online tools (ex: ePerformance, One Profile, engagement survey action plans) leads and tests initiatives. - Curate and develop learning resources for performance management. - Create, maintain, and improve various communication SharePoint sites. - Strategize and lead the employee engagement survey initiative and roll out of the results. - Develop strategies for effective "employee performance" data analysis, reporting, dashboards. - Develop and analyze various survey data and collaborate with other Talent and Development employees to facilitate an action plan in conjunction with the HR directors. - Help create a strategic plan, connect with external stakeholders, and support Manager, Corporate Talent and Succession to further develop the Emerging Leaders Program. - Participate at events, in person or virtually, to help promote various Corporate Talent initiatives - Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with other members of the Talent and Employee Development team. - Work and collaborate with other team members of Corporate Talent and Employee Development teams to try new initiatives, pilot, and be comfortable when presenting in front of other stakeholders. - Develop strong partnering relationships with the Communications team. - Keep abreast of current research and trends in talent and succession, regularly networking with other top-ranking employers, and other educational institutions, to share best practices. - Help managers understand metrics and calculate the success of an initiative and put a process in place to support new initiatives. - Facilitate group discussions as needed for the Corporate Talent team. **Approx. no of people managed**: Other managers, relationship management with executives, if needed. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree or certificate in Human Resources or Data Analytics is an asset. - 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources field. - Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Strong presentation skills with good verbal and written communication. - Ability to think strategically and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI, Word, Planner, SharePoint). - Strong initiative and managerial courage with a high level of diplomacy and tact. - Experience developing, executing, and maintaining business process improvements & business relationships. - Bilingual (French & English). - Travel as required. **Conditions of Employment**: **Linguistic Requireme
