BD Diesel is looking for an experienced **Territory Sales Representative**who is accountable for broadening our customer base by providing great customer service directly to both wholesale distributors and end use customers. As a sales team member, you will be called upon to develop your territory through good old-fashioned business development by developing contacts and building relationships. As a valuable member of the BD Diesel team, this position contributes to the goal of being an innovative and world-class manufacturer by establishing BD as a leader in customer friendly technology and innovation.

This position reports to the Sales Manager with the daily activities coordinated by the Sales Supervisor and works 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday.

**As a Territory Sales Representative, your role includes**:

- Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential up-selling
- Review account for product categories customers are not purchasing
- Making outgoing calls to develop new accounts and log into CRM 10 per week min
- Responding to and processing incoming calls and orders
- Opening new accounts
- Developing customer base and sales leads by making cold and warm calls.
- Entering orders into system
- Maintaining knowledge base on current products and learning about new products
- Providing pricing quotations and follow-up on quotes
- Provide quotations and product information
- Troubleshooting (freight problems, expediting, etc.)
- Responding to inquiries
- Identify, develop and close business opportunities.
- Occasional travel required
- Attend monthly sales review meeting from 4:30-6:00pm

**Who You Are**:

- Results: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include: individual and team safety, quality, and productivity results.
- Relationships: Demonstrate respect, honesty, trustworthiness, integrity, team player characteristics, and emotional intelligence.
- Skills: Working knowledge in all four English language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Basic math, analytical and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of Windows operating system and ERP software as required.
- General: Must be capable of wearing personal protective equipment necessary to comply with government and company safety standards.

**Education and Experience**:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5 years Parts and Sales related experience
- 2 years Customer facing service experience preferred
- Demonstrated vehicle maintenance experience
- Understanding of Automotive Parts and Mechanical aptitude
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
