Position: Civil/Transportation Technologist

Purpose:
Integrated Engineering is a Saskatoon engineering consultant and part of the Acadia Group of companies. We are expanding our footprint in the Saskatchewan Highways Construction Administration field and are looking for a keen Technologist to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Team Player
- Perform various quality testing and inspections related to road construction - lab and compaction testing experience-Sieves/Densities etc.
- Operate GPS survey instruments and software an asset
- Keep accurate field notes and prepare reports
- Communicate with on site supervisor and contractor during project execution
- Quality control and quality assurance to both company and client quality standards on a variety of construction projects
- Comfort in a large scale construction environment
- Willingness to work extended hours/outdoors/throughout Saskatchewan

Preferred Qualifications
- Civil Construction field and/or equivalent work/educational experience
- Educational background in Civil/Transportation or equivalent experience
- Saskatchewan Highways experience an asset
- Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License
- CivilCAD experience an asset
- Ability to travel to worksites across Saskatchewan as required

Experience/Skills Required
- Strong communication and organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an active environment with mínimal supervision
- Ability to meet deadlines and tight schedules
- Commitment to a team environment with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour
