We are currently looking for a **Civil Project Technician** in our Regina office. This position will be responsible for the field and laboratory testing of soils and construction materials and preliminary design and construction surveying. This position offers an interesting variety of office and field work on a diversified range of infrastructure related projects. We work primarily within central and northern Saskatchewan.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performing field and laboratory testing of soil, aggregate and asphalt concrete including sieve analysis, density testing using nuclear density gauges, preparation of Proctors and Marshall molds, asphalt cement content, sand equivalents, Atterberg limits and moisture content. (Testing is undertaken in accordance with Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure procedures, CSA and ASTM standards).
- Providing quality control and quality assurance on a variety of laboratory and field testing projects.
- Preparing of field and testing reports.
- Undertaking preliminary design and construction surveying

**Qualifications**:

- Civil Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent would be an asset
- Certification as a CET or A.Sc.T would be an asset
- Experience in materials testing of asphalt concrete, soils, and aggregates
- Willingness to work away from headquarters and ability to travel
- Must possess a valid driver license, with a favourable driver’s abstract
