**Position: Executive Assistant**
**Position Summary**
The work is highly rewarding and is an opportunity to make a positive impact in vulnerable populations across the province of BC.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support the Executive Director and provide additional support to the Board of Directors and staff, as directed, to ensure that company goals and objectives are accomplished and that operations run efficiently.
- Maintain and refine internal processes that support ED and coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflows.
- Manage communication with employees by liaising with internal and external partners on various projects and tasks.
- Plan and orchestrate work to ensure that ED priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld.
- Coordinate scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to ED.
- Manage travel logistics and activities, including accommodations, transportation, and meals and expense re-imbursement.
- Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials.
- Organize team communications and plan events, both internal and off-site.
**Qualifications**
- Experience in an administrative role reporting directly to upper management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
- High level of proficiency with office productivity tools (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Excel, Planner, Teams, Visio, etc.,) and an aptitude for learning new software and systems.
- Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its employees.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment.
- Ability to work independently with little direction.
**Preferred skills and qualifications**
- Experience in developing internal processes and filing systems
- Experience working in the disability sector.
- Understanding of social programs and services related to community resources.
- Experience working in a government environment.
- Understanding of social-based program and other applicable legislation, regulations and policies.
**Hours of Work**: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, Monday to Friday
**Schedule**:Monday to Friday
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 hours per week
**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
