**Career Opportunity - (Assisstant Supervisor)**

Westpark Daycare is seeking an experienced, highly committed and passionate Supervisor for our Centre.

**Qualifications**
- Experienced, mature individual with a proven work record of excellence
- A minimum of 2 years’ of supervisory experience
- Registered Early Childhood Education Certification
- Good working knowledge of “How Does Learning Happen”
- Clean police record
- Current “First Aid & CPR” certificate
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check (within the last six months)

The applicant should have noticeable experience in working with children in licensed childcare center.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supervision & Leadership**:

- Assist in supervising daily activities and routines for children in the program.
- Support and mentor early childhood educators and staff in implementing developmentally appropriate practices.
- Lead team meetings and contribute to staff development.

**Program Implementation**:

- Help design and implement engaging educational programs and activities that meet the needs of children.
- Monitor and assess children’s development, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Ensure that learning environments are safe, inclusive, and conducive to children’s growth.

**Family Engagement**:

- Build and maintain positive relationships with families, addressing concerns and providing support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress and program activities.

**Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, promoting hygiene and safety practices.
- Assist in conducting regular safety inspections and emergency drills.

**Administrative Support**:

- Help with the management of program schedules, staff assignments, and resource allocation.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records related to children’s attendance, development, and health.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
