Assistant Packaging Supervisor

Mississauga, Canada Akuna Health Products Inc. Full time

Duties:

- Responsible for assisting supervisor in packaging department in a fast paced beverage manufacturing facility
- Complete daily reports
- Work with various co-packing clients - ensuring standards are met
- Supervise employee training - assist with scheduling staff
- Adjusting and maintaining packaging equipment
- Monitoring inventory levels
- Maintain safe working environment

Qualifications:

- Fluency in English is a must - both verbal and written form
- 2 to 3 years relevant experience in similar field
- In depth knowledge of packaging equipment processes and maintenance programs
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Flexibility with scheduling required
- Forklift license preferred
- Must possess outstanding organizational skills
- Additional languages an asset
- Experience in handling a diverse work force helpful
- Physically fit - must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 + lbs
- Commitment to excellence, dependable, reliable with a strong work ethic

Compensation based on related experience

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
