Hands on Health Wellness Centre is one of the fastest growing rehabilitation facilities in Southwestern Ontario.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated Medical Office Assistant VOLUNTEER to join our team.

**We are looking for an individual who has the following qualities**:

- Time management skills - to be able to prioritize activities, especially when there is a high volume of tasks
- Attention to detail to ensure that all company memos are free of any errors
- Positive attitude for greeting customers and clients in a friendly and warm manner upon arrival to the office or through the phone
- Communication skills - to be able to communicate with internal team members, patients and clients and understand their needs
- Strong organizational skills to keep multiple calendars organized
- Administrative skills - to be able to use basic computer programs including Microsoft Office
- Flexibility - to be able to move between locations, activities and duties quickly if priorities change
- Strong sense of integrity, professionalism and commitment
- Ability to be innovative and take initiative to help the practice grow
- Respectful of all ethical considerations including strict confidentiality
- Ability to be empathetic with patients on the telephone and in person

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Create a welcoming environment for the patients
- Works under direction of the Office Manager
- Take customer/patient complaints or issues and pass them on to the appropriate parties
- Assists in various Paramedical office management related tasks
- Provides support for teams when necessary

**Job Types**: Part-time, Internship / Co-op

Pay: $1.00 per hour
