**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Creating schedules
- Food Costing
- Food and beverage ordering
- Inventories
- Assessing and creating standard operating procedures and cleaning schedules
- coordinating with the kitchen manager and general manager for specials and events
- Assist in the planning of menus and meal preparation schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
- Help maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and communication among staff.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably as a Cook or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, including proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during busy periods.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that satisfy customers' needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$22.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
