BearCom Canada was established with the goal of becoming the leading supplier of wireless communication solutions in the country, providing cellular phones, data devices, two-way radios, satellite phones and GPS products, delivered from our experienced sales, service, rentals and installations teams. Our customer demographics include the oilfield, construction, public safety, municipalities, and forestry industries. BearCom Canada’s Grande Prairie branch has an extensive fleet of service vehicles traveling to customer locations throughout Northwestern Alberta and Northeastern British Columbia.

As a **Rental Coordinator**, you will provide Bearcom customers with short-term rental services of two-way communication equipment. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of rental service; from consulting to order taking, equipment programming, to product training, customer service, to invoicing for services rendered. The successful applicant must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00 with occasional overtime.

**Responsibilities**

Consult with and take rental orders from clients.

Coordinate equipment needs and plan delivery schedules to fulfill customer's rental orders.

Responsible for rental equipment inventory control.

Keeping the Rental Manager and General Manager involved in the pursuit of attaining rental revenue goals.

Light marketing of BearCom rental services to local events and venues.

Planning and installing equipment for customers’ rental needs.

Computer programming of rental equipment.

Cleaning and making minor repairs to all rental equipment

Computer data entry and invoicing of rental orders.

Travelling to customer sites to deliver equipment

**Job Qualifications**

Exceptional administrative skills, with the ability to quote and efficiently invoice customers (JD Edwards software experience a definite asset)

Strong communication and people skills

Self-motivated

Strong teamwork skills

1 year in fast paced environment and/ or events business preferred.

Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure.

Strong communication and ability to develop relationships with event holders

Experience in writing and compiling reports.

Ability lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Some College preferred or experience in similar role.

Backgrounds are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle check.
