**Tridon Communications is currently seeking a Rental Bench Technician to add to our growing Team in Edmonton.**

**About the Job**:
The Rental Bench Technician responsible to program, install, test, troubleshoot, and repair communications equipment, and ensure that customers receive the required rental equipment that meets their needs. They will work with the Rentals team and Service team in providing customers with cost-effective solutions to their temporary and long-term communications needs. They will also ensure that all rental equipment is clean and in good working order.

**Must Haves**:

- High School Diploma
- Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology or Electronics related field/ or Certificate in Electronics Engineering Technology with suitable combination of education and experience is considered an asset
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Operator’s License or equivalent

**Ideal Skills**:

- Knowledge of products and services offered by Tridon Communications considered an asset, as is communications industry experience and knowledge
- Experience with inventory systems considered an asset
- Warehouse experience considered an asset
- Administrative experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of safety standards related to office, shop and store environments
- Knowledge of hand and power tools, test equipment an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Effective at building/maintaining relationships with executives, management and staff,
- Strong internal/external customer service skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to multitask
- Problem solving and decision making
- Ability to read/understand engineering drawings/documents
- Ability to grasp new techniques, and deal with rapidly changing events

We have been supplying wireless communication products and services to Alberta industry since 1981. We operate seven service shops in Fort McMurray, Edmonton, Edson, Hinton, Calgary, Saskatoon & Terrace British Columbia.

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
