The IT Coordinator also coordinates and supports collaborative IT projects, manages procurement of IT services and equipment, and collaborates with internal managers to set priorities and meet project deadlines. Overseeing cybersecurity and risk management is another essential aspect of this role, where the IT Coordinator develops and implements strategies to mitigate risks and protect sensitive data. Furthermore, maintaining a comprehensive technology asset inventory, which includes records of invoices, device lifecycle, repair history, and warranty information, is fundamental to ensuring the organization’s technology resources are well-managed and optimized.
