The IT Operations Technician works out of our Shelby’s London Support Centre, the primary

responsibilities include tech support, POS hardware build, program and basic installation, on

occasion field work including hardware fixes and new tech installation and support. This includes

going to Shelby’s locations to troubleshoot IT and AV equipment issues when necessary.

on-site in London and in the field as required.

**Responsibilities**:
Franchise IT Support
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues with POS equipment; including, KDS, Kiosks, printers,

phones and other POS/Tech equipment, both hardware and software.
- Gathers and analyses information about a user’s issue to determine the best way to resolve

their problem - and find solutions company wide for on-going issues.
- Creates service tickets for all issues.
- Provide basic support and troubleshooting.

IT/Hardware Build
- Programs printers, builds feedback stands and any other new tech equipment for store

locations
- Crates and ships equipment to locations as needed and on schedule
- Installs preconfigured switch gear, access points and data cabling for all in-house built

equipment.
- Installs and upgrades Software, set up and MDM iPads, tablets etc.
- Completes general maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area.

Professional Competencies
- Provides training to end users to ensure that accounts and systems are secured correctly
- Adheres to all security best practices for support and privileged access rights

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum two-year diploma in Electronics Technician or Technology, Information Technology

programs, IT Support Services or a related field of study is required
- Minimum one-year of practical experience maintaining, installing and troubleshooting

computers, network equipment and software systems is required
- Previous IT service desk experience preferred
- Working knowledge of desktop/laptop computers, AV devices, network equipment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft, Apple and Android operating systems
- Experience with network cable installation
- Experience working with a variety of hand and power tools
- Good troubleshooting skills and electro-mechanical aptitude
- Good communications and public relations skills
- Ability to work without constant supervision
- Ability to travel to other locations as needed

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
