**BOCADO RESTAURANT**is currently hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales and Event Coordinator for our locations in Collingwood and Picton.

**BOCADO RESTAURANT** is a Spanish inspired restaurant, with a location in Prince Edward County and soon to open Collingwood. BOCADO is a true expression of the Mediterranean, and Spanish cuisine through its colourful menu and thoughtful décor.

This role involves sales, planning, organizing, and sometimes executing various events while ensuring exceptional guest services and satisfaction. The Event Coordinator will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, manage budgets, and coordinate logistics to bring events to life with the restaurant teams.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**

You have a great sense of passion for wine, food, and culinary excellence. You are a hospitality professional that is eager to share your knowledge for catering and events. You show true initiative, drive and stamina and are willing to go above and beyond to engage our guests sincerely.
- Responding to sales inquires for large group bookings, buy outs and offsite events.
- Work with restaurant teams to ensure bookings are managed and delivered to the highest standard
- Give feed back and consult with restaurant teams on venue packages
- Lead guests through interesting and diverse wine lists and food menus
- Book wedding tastings and coordinate payments.
- Previous experience with silverware, Triple seat are preferred but not essential
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination within the hospitality industry
- Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with marketing strategies related to event promotion
- Experience in upselling services or products related to events is a plus
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Time management proficiency to meet deadlines effectively
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with clients to determine event objectives, themes, and requirements
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation
- Oversee event marketing strategies to promote attendance and engagement
- Provide outstanding guest services before, during, and after events
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates
- Manage timelines effectively to ensure all aspects of the event are executed smoothly
- Handle on-site coordination during events to address any issues that may arise
- Collect feedback from clients and guests post-event for continuous improvement

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
