**Paradise Banquet Hall**, one of Vaughan's most sought-after Hospitality and Event Centre, is looking for a professional to be part of our exciting team. We are a growing company and take pride in providing professional development and career advancement opportunities.

We are looking for a Banquet Set-Up member to join our team. This is a PERMANENT position, shifts are between Thursday to Monday during the day with some early morning start times. **You must be available between these days and be flexible with scheduling.**

**Job Summary**
- _Set up and tear down of tables, chairs, and stages this includes _**lifting and moving**_ _these items_
- _Prepare rooms for events by placing linens, glassware, cutlery, napkins and dishware according to client’s request._
- _Ensure all rooms are set-up according to the floor plans provided in a timely manner _
- _Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures_
- _Care for all equipment and supplies by using and handling appropriately and carefully and replacing safely after use_

**Required skills**
- _High school diploma or equivalent_
- Be able to lift 20kg or more**:

- _Following set-up instructions with great attention to detail_
- _Be open and flexible regarding work hours and schedule_

**Applicants who do not already have legal permission to work in Canada will not be considered.**

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required
