**Outlet Manager**
The Outlet Manager will be responsible for the successful leadership of our hotel outlets. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director, the Outlet Manager will work in conjunction with all Food & Beverage leadership to ensure the success of the department.
**Responsibilities**:
- Actively participate in the ongoing development of all outlets at OBBH
- Assist Director of F&B with day-to-day operational management of all hotel outlets
- Ensure all operational standards and internal policies are kept up-to-date at all times.
- Ensure annual goals relating to service standards are met.
- Work as backup management support to other food and beverage areas of Oak Bay Beach Hotel.
- Ensure monthly financial projections and results are accurate and on target.
- Provides input and recommendations to Director of Food & Beverage on menu development, wine cellar program and special events.
- Ensure effective communications between all areas of the Food and Beverage Division and other departments within the Oak Bay Beach Hotel.
- Motivate and engage team members to consistently deliver “Our Best” service.
- Overseeing the health, safety and security of both guests and employees.
- Ensure appropriate and timely recognition of team and participate in department and hotel recognition events.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with the FARO team.
- Evening and weekend work is required.
- All other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- 2-4 years of proven experience in a management role within Food & Beverage
- Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, practices, and techniques
- Proven ability to examine and re-engineer food & beverage operations, form new policies, and develop and implement new strategies.
- Proven creativity in food and beverage menu development and offerings.
- Sincere customer focus and true appreciation for hospitality.
- Sommelier Diploma from an accredited institution preferred.
- Proven knowledge of cost analysis, financial, inventory, and yield management, and budgeting.
- Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and direct a team, including coaching and mentoring.
- Evening and weekend availability will be required.
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
