The hotel is part of the Westin brand, which falls under the Marriott umbrella. The hotel also features a state-of-the-art spa and serenity pool.

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**

**Restaurant**:

- Assist in managing daily operations of the restaurant and other F&B outlets
- Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures
- Help coordinate staff scheduling, timekeeping, and inventory controls
- Supervise daily shifts and provide on-the-floor leadership
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and respond promptly to complaints
- Collaborate closely with the Kitchen, Sales, and Banquet teams
- Monitor service quality and communicate issues to the Chef and Restaurant Manager
- Enforce cleanliness, safety, and health standards for all team members
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed
- Oversee servers and support staff, providing hands-on assistance when necessary.

**Banquet & Events**:

- Assist in overseeing banquet setups, events, and service execution
- Maintain strong guest relations during events and ensure service excellence
- Assign setup and service tasks to banquet staff
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure smooth food service during functions
- Train new banquet employees on setup and service procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Accurately process billing for events using POS systems
- Act as liaison between Sales, Kitchen, and Event Coordinators
- Support team coaching, performance reviews, and staff development

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2-3 years of assistant management experience in a restaurant, banquet, or F&B environment.
- Experience managing restaurant operations, event setups, or banquet service.
- Strong understanding of F&B operations, service standards, and event execution.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control, and scheduling software.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in food service.
- Ability to understand and manage budgets, promotions, and expense tracking
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience in team management and staff training.
- Background in hospitality management or culinary experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
