Human Resources Coordinator - Under the direction of the Human Resources Business Partner,completes day-to-day human resources activities within Integrated Care Solutions (ICS) and collaborates in relevant National Service Centre initiatives
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Handle all telephone and written inquiries relating to the hiring and selection of Field employees as requested.
- Schedule and arrange Information Sessions; conduct specific parts of the Information Session, such as payroll and other HR related sessions
- Prepare and maintain materials for meetings, training and Human Resources team
- Maintain Field employee human resources files such that all required documentation, including copies of current professional registration, probationary and annual performance reviews, supervisory reports and continuing education documentation are included.
- Maintain Field employee human resources files in conjunction with the Human Resources Business Partner and ensure that final performance reviews and/or exit interviews are included.
- Participate in the Health and Safety Program as directed by the immediate supervisor
- Handle payroll and benefits-related inquiries and assist employees to complete forms.
- Process terminations, resignation and LOA’s in PeopleSoft, Procura and update any internal tracking methods
- Handle l requests for reference checks and verification of employment; refer difficult situations to the HRBP or immediate supervisor.
- Manage Workers Compensation claims documentation including filing reports, follow-up activities; participate in the development of modified work programs as requested.
- Maintain current knowledge of provincial legislation relating to Employment Standards, Human
- Rights, Workplace Health and Safety, and Labour laws; assist to handle real or suspected violations of legislated requirements.
- Support Interns or Co-Op students
- Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
- Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
- Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.
- Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
- Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.
- Run the probationary period report
- Maintain leave of absence of field staff
**Peoplesoft**
- Update/ Change actions for field staff
- Enter employee credentials under Person Profiles
- Run reports for CPR, N95 and Nursing license, ensure all credentials are up to date
- Run and prepare reports for various reason at the request of the HRBP
**Procura**
- Input new hire information
- Input service requirements for staff
Job Qualification
**Education**
Minimum - Secondary School Diploma. Completion of a recognized Human Resources certificate or diploma program is preferred.
**EXPERIENCE**
A minimum of two years progressively responsible and varied human resources experience.
**Other Skills and Abilities**
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competency in keyboarding and Windows software
- Ability to operate all standard office equipment
- Commitment to continued learning.

**REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS**
Human Resource Coordinator reports to the Human Resouces Business Partner.
**STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE**
The Human Resources Coordinator - Branch must demonstrate ongoing competency in completing all duties and responsibilities of this job description, in response to changes by the regulating body, as well as agreed upon specific goals and objectives.
**PERFORMANCE REVIEW**
Performance will be reviewed on an ongoing basis with a formal review at the end of the six month probationary period and subsequently, on at least an annual basis. Input will be sought from employee, Supervisor, Branch Office and Field employees, and in addition, will be based on ongoing client feedback and the extent to which performance meets expectations.
