We are a busy general contracting company that has been in operation since 1967. Over the past 50 years, our experience in the building industry and reputation as a trusted general contractor allow us to provide better outcomes for our clients. We pride ourselves in delivering quality workmanship in a variety of construction environments from custom-built homes and renovations to commercial transformations and restorations.

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support to the President & CEO and Project Manager.
- Prepare, format, and proofread construction documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Maintain filing systems for project documentation, permits, invoices and contracts.
- Track and order office supplies as needed.
- Review daily payables and receivables to ensure they are accurate and properly allocated to the correct project number.
- Support the bi-weekly payroll process, including tracking timesheets and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Perform other administrative duties as required.
- Strong knowledge in administrative office procedures and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Foxit PDF software.
- Demonstrate a strong ability and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Obtain Insurance Certificates, WSIB Clearance Certificates.
- Strong interpersonal skill and communication skills.

**Job Type**: Permanent (35 Hour Work Week)

**Salary**: $21.00 to $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Thursday 9:00AM - 4:30 PM
- Friday 9:00AM to 1:00PM

**Education**:

- OSSD required.
- Post secondary education in Office Administration, Business or a relate field is an asset. Equivalent administrative experience in a construction or project-based environment will be considered.

**Experience**:

- Administrative Assistant: 2 years (construction or trades experience a plus)
- Experience with QBO is an asset.
- Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and Foxit PDF software.
