**Job Summary**

A friendly, people-oriented, and established practice is looking for a dental assistant to work five days a week. The person should be amiable, detail-oriented, confident, and have good communication skills in English. The person needs to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment.

This role involves providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately, including patient records and treatment plans.
- Manage appointment scheduling using Tracker Dental Management software and ensure efficient patient flow.
- Handle clerical duties such as filing patient documents and maintaining dental supplies inventory.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, appointments, and follow-up care.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and assist with patient inquiries.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clerical role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with phone systems and basic office equipment is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
