Part-time Dental Assistant

**About Us**:
We have a modern and fully digital practice. We use paperless charting (Tracker), digital X-rays, an iTero digital scanner, and RecallMax for patient communication. You’ll be joining a positive and experienced team that values efficiency, kindness, and professionalism. This is an independently owned office with no DSO or large corp affiliations. It is a small 3-operatory office (1 dds and 1 hygienist working at a time), so things never get too hectic
**Your Role**:
Chairside assisting, with occasional front desk help (end of day Mondays you will help close out the front desk as dds is done at 7 and hygiene finishes at 8).
**Schedule (Approx. 13.5 hours/week)**:
- **Monday**: 1 PM - 8 PM (Assisting 1-7, Reception 7-8)
- **Alternating Fridays**: 8:45 AM - 3 PM (Assisting)
- **Alternating Saturdays**: 8:45 AM - 2 PM (Assisting)
*Off the Saturdays on the weeks you work Fridays
- **More days/hours available in future**
**Clinical Duties Include**:
- Assisting during dental procedures
- Taking digital X-rays and intraoral scans (itero)
- Taking alginate impressions (occasionally)
- Sterilization and room setup/cleanup
- Managing clinical inventory and supply organization
**Occasional Reception Duties Include**:
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Booking appointments
- Processing payments and insurance claims
- General office tidying as needed
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Level II Dental Assistant with NDAEB and HARP certification
- A team player with excellent time management and communication skills
- Comfortable with occasional front desk duties
- Experience in dental reception (asset, not required)
- Familiarity with Tracker software (asset, not required)
- Experience with RecallMax (asset, not required)
