**We are looking for**: a full-time, contract IT Helpdesk Student
**Hours of Work**: 34 hours/week. This is a hybrid work from home role.
**Reports to**: Manager, IT

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with managing and maintaining the Active Directory environment.
- Manage security groups and distribution groups for access control.
- Assist with configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the phone system (RingCentral).
- Install and update software, drivers, and operating systems.
- Update the inventory of IT assets and document configurations.
- Assist with creating and updating IT manuals, FAQs, and user guides.
- Keeps up-to-date with emerging technologies and IT best practices.

Risk, Health and Safety Management
- Participating in health and safety processes and procedures
- Participating in maintaining a safe workplace environment by cultivating a positive safety culture and encouraging best practices to promote both staff and client safety and well-being
- Participating in all health and safety training initiatives on a regular basis
- Taking proactive action against client incidents within your scope of practice
- Protecting the wellbeing of staff by providing a safe and healthy working environment.
- Promoting a culture of safety by being responsible for encouraging blame-free reporting..
- Investigating adverse events by performing a root cause analysis and gathering all relevant information as it pertains to the event.

**Qualifications**:

- Students must be currently enrolled in post-secondary studies.
- Exhibit good customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Intune
- Experience in creating asset tags using inventory tools
